I don't know if this was mentioned before, but you can also order the 1M quarterpanels, no? I guess it comes down to if it's cheaper and less of a hassle to just replace the whole part or just add sheet metal to it..

We are still using the OEM rocker panels. If our car was a street car and we were going to leave it like that, I probably would have gotten the 1M rear fender liners as well instead of fabbing something from the old front fender liners to fill the gap.
More pics from our conversion. https://www.facebook.com/sctsracing#...5329109&type=3

I was trying to understand what exact parts were needed for the conversion, and I ended up making a spreadsheet (Excel format) with the RealOEM diagrams, and ilikebmxbike's PN. I might be missing a part or two, let me know, and I can revise it. Feel free to download!

Welcome - I think that just about covers the body parts. Not sure how easy they will be to get over in Georgia...

Wow, nicely done. In addition to the 1M rocker panels, how costly was it? (along with the painting, did you have the body shop do the grafting?)

Going to revive this. Running into some trouble with ordering parts for my build.
Apparently BMW has discontinued the base clips for the 1M turn signals. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...51&fg=20&hl=67 So going to have to figure how to get a pair... any suggestions? |

"part # 51138051817,51138051818,(base left and right) has been discontinued by BMW and is no longer available to order." Going to try the part#'s 51137362675, 51137362676 and post what they say about these. Otherwise ill try ECS and see if they have a pair. |
