Paint chip repair
Wondering if anybody here has a magic bullet for simple paint chip repair? A pen, a paste, something? The little bottle of touch-up paint from the dealer has never done me well.

Another vote for Dr. Colorchip. We use it quite a bit at the shop when clients need touchup and it greatly improves the look without leaving the typical blob of paint. I'm currently testing a couple of other kits, but so far no reason to stop using Dr Colorchip.
For a very quick solution, those clearcoat touchup pens that can be picked up at a car parts store work fine to improve the look of light scratches. They will however leave a light excess on the surface, so you have to decide which looks worse. Ivan @ DI |
