Removing OEM Exhaust TIps

Mine are bit beat....so I am thinking about buying these... Anyone ever remove them and replace them? How hard is it? How did you do it? THANKS! |

tip removal
Just as above--grab, twist and pull. Really easy and you can't hurt anything. I replaced mine and used the 135'5 tips on my X3(black looks good on it).

I cleaned the hell out of mine recently, only to realize that slight corrosion was hiding beneath the carbon build up. I'd be replacing mine with the spares linked in this thread, but I've got a brand new BMW Performance Exhaust sitting in the foyer collecting dust.
