Thumbs up for Stage 1 MHD
Finally got the balls to try a MHD on my car. Couldn't believe how smooth the whole operation went. Just followed the guide and it all worked perfectly. My car is pretty stock ( except for evolution Racewerkes charge pipe), so I just went with the stage 1. Quite a bit of a difference really , couldn't imagine what Stage +2 and shit like that would feel. Planning on changing the ignition coils and plugs too,but for now ,I think I'm done with stage 1. Installed ST coilovers myself and are planning on trying to install the M1/M3 rear subframe bushes, but it looks like a bitch of a job. Thinking of leaving it to the experts and forking out some cash. Anyone know a good place to get that done around eastern suburbs of Melbourne ? Anyway , If you've been thinking of doing a MHD...DO IT. You will love it.

Thanks for the post, I've been sitting on the fence for a while - mainly enjoying some trouble free motoring (except for a suspect nail incident ruining a near new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 rear tyre). Been thinking about an intercooler as well with summer right around the corner. Or maybe stuff it and get DP too and go stage 2 .

Geez, going the whole HOG! Yes I have been enjoying trouble free motoring for a while too, hope this doesn't change anything. I'm Pretty happy with stage 1, maybe stage 1+ in the future if I get myself a intercooler. Been looking at the Mishimoto since it fits straight on with no cutting. I really want to do the rear subframe bushings, been hearing good things about that mod. Lots of people recomend changing the ignition coils and plugs when you MHD, but so far so good. I have coils and plugs on stand by anyway so i if i can be bothered one of these days i might just change them .

I am going to chuck mhd stage 1 on my car soon (think they have a black Friday sale too). My car is completely stock atm. I have ordered a charge pipe and dci's. What else do I need to actually get traction. I am not a fan of spinning wheels. Will new (good) tyres work or do I need bigger tyres and an LSD?
