Didn't see anyone mentioning this before (sorry if repost). Renntech now offers a tune for the 1///M. Dynoed at their place (stock just as a baseline), great guys, met the owner (and one of the resident ECU tuners), top notch place.

Not sure where to post it, but this thread seems to be a good place.
I got my AW 1M a few months ago. - BSR stage 1 tune: +44 PS and +67 Nm advertised with engine warranty - N55 midpipes - Wagner intercooler Tested (Dynapak) last week outside in 25 degree C: 414 PS (368 PS rear wheel) and 636 Nm The M mode did increase the torque between 3000 and 5000 rpm, and the power between 4250 and 5000 rpm somewhat. Most torque between 3000 and 4500 rpm while most power between 4500 and 6500 rpm. The car is used on local tracks more than on public roads, and so far everything is working just fine (oil temp max 120 degree C). |

Dinan Exhaust
I just had the Dinan exhaust installed on my car today and the fit was perfect. Dinan has not updated their website yet but they just began shipping. I have the Maddad mid pipe which deletes the two mid pipe cats and replaces them with staggered silencers. The sound of the exhaust is fantastic, the drone is almost none existent and the pull from low revs is better and especially at the top end. This is my second Dinan exhaust, I had one on my 2008 335i. I also have the Dinan Stage 2 ecu tune. For $2,000 for the exhaust, I think the price is very competitive and and the look and performance is fantastic.

Dinan muffler/Maddad mid pipe
I know there has already been a 1M with Dinan posted, however, since I did not provide it with my original post I felt that I needed to follow through with this. I apologize for a little shaking of the iphone but hopefully this will help. The beginning is the car at warm up and the 2nd half is a few minutes latter. I did not get to fully warm up the car at proper oil temp. In regards to all the concerns about cutting the exhaust. I did not find it to be a big deal. They cut it in the designated location and use the Dinan provided clamp and we are done. I have found that the sound is much throatier than the stock muffler w/the mad dad and the drown is virtually eliminated.
