a roadster (e.g. you 35i) weighs almost as much as a sedan(335i) and the F10 535i is lighter than my E93 335i hope this M will weigh less than the 135i..... maybe Performance seats, lighter chassis.. |

quads look and sound cool - no big deal really as I guess that is what $3k aftermarket exhaust is for: serious weight loss, better sound, and more power

A dinan exhaust for the e46 M3 is $1699. A dinan exhaust for the e9x M3 is $2399. I guess the people nagging for Quads never though of this.

Personally - I have always been satisfied with the sound from the M exhaust. Now we need a video clip of the car with Quads going around the track !

Where are the naysayers? Anyways, this thing is coming along nicely. I thought I was gonna keep my 135i forever, but this changes everything... Can't wait to test drive one.

I'd still prefer it not have a quad exhaust, but at least this quiets the skeptics. As if all the other M parts on these mules weren't enough.

While everyone is looking at the exhausts and M stuff...All I see is a render of a car that was made in 2006 (google it) and by the time this New M1 is released/available 2012..they will ask a premium price for a car that has a pretty old body style.. Them bug eyed lights for one are damn ugly..I'm hoping they change more.

This will be available in 2011. I'm sure they will find enough people to buy a true motorsport version of the 1 series.

not that i doubted it was an M and not Msport, this is final nail into the sceptics coffing. Fast small BMWs - that's what I like about the brand. not the bloated X6M though I still want one.
