You use a slightly slower shutter speed and pan the camera, following the car, while taking the picture. FANTASTIC pictures!!! (and nice to meet you yesterday) FYI, Scott's having issues with the results file, and needs to load the new timing software to be able to produce the results. I am getting him the software today. So.. results are likely this evening... |

Sorry I couldn't make it on Sunday. I am missing it already.
I did manage to sell my car to a friend who now lives in NJ... so at least I know it will be in a good home (the friend, not NJ...). I am off to NC on Saturday and then to Belgium on June 8th. I try to hang around the board and keep an eye on you.

Photos are up on Flickr!
First album has just the 1ers and has all the shots I saved (good and otherwise). Tagged by car number, though halfway through tagging I realized Larry and Andy were sharing a car. http://www.flickr.com/photos/molumus...7624005562357/ Second album has all the other cars from yesterday and a few of Larry digging a cone out from underneath a 5er. http://www.flickr.com/photos/molumus...7624130721712/ |

Great meeting you!! Fantastic pics too! Particularly like the pics of 135gofast taking a group of cones out during a spin. There TONS of great pics of us all.
..and thanks for not posting those pics of me on my knees digging out a cone. I didn't see 'em, but I can imagine they are nice and flattering! |

i stumbled upon something really cool with these great picture sequences. because vogelfanger snapped so many, it's easy to compare people's runs: copy the pictures locally to your machine, then use windows photo viewer to view the photos in sequence... click "next" "next" "next" as fast as your pc will allow, you can see the pictures like a video. I might make up one of those seconds that everyone is beating me by just by watching the sequences! |

I haven't figured out a way to do that in Flickr...would be nice though. I tried setting up an FTP server on my media server but found that Verizon blocks HTTP and FTP traffic. :-(

Haha thanks! I checked the schedule and I think I'm out of town the next two events, but I think I can do the one on July 25! I'm super excited about that.
