I think the warranty is limited to 60,000 miles which is understandable. Some of the servicing is time dependant such as brake fluid oil change and some services are down to mileage and how you drive the car. Perhaps it depends on whether the car is going to complete 60,000 miles in 5 years? |

I realize in scottland there is no FULL MAINT plan as it is in the USA, but what exactly does the full service pack cover????? does it cover Brakes ?? or just services..

I have opted for the £1000 version. I don't think the Inclusive Plus would be worthwhile for me. For someone who drives their car really hard - don't know. |

USA gets what you call Inclusive Plus.. basically everything except tires / wheels and alignments.. Top off are done for free by Dealers usually as a courtsey... Its specifically listed that Top offs are customer pay.... FYI for other USA guys. BMW came out with the upgrade price for the 1M BTW you can upgrade USA full Maint plan an additional 2 years and an additional 50K .... This follows along with the CPO warranty.. which is the same 2 yr 50k above the base warranty FYI for other USA guys. BMW came out with the upgrade price for the 1M .. its $3,295.00 MSRP for the additional 2yrs and 50k.

to answer this another way I have had a 118D M Sport for nearly 3 years. In this time Servicing has cost me around £600 at Sytner & I have done 60,000. If I had purchased the service pack the cost would have been £300!

I am getting it as well and i am trying to get a reduction on the price. I think it is my only chance at getting something off the car. When are you taking delivery ? I have had to delay to June 1st as i will still be out of country till then. Alex has promised to take pictures before and after the mods for me |

All being well it should be the middle of April. I have a guy who wants my 135i and has given me a deposit but he's still got to sell his own car. There's not a lot of time now but he seems confident enough. Alex did say though that under the circumstances they could delay things a little rather than me having to take a hit on the trade-in. So, fingers crossed for April. Excitement building..... |

Certainly in your case Boxercup it would be a complete waste of money. I was thinking more of the longer term ownership. I just wonder where it gets to be an advantage.

Only worthwhile option is clutch, but will you really burn through a clutch as part of normal wear and tear driving (and if the dealer decides the clutch was abused he may deny it altogether). Isn't the clutch upgraded, or was it just the tranny. Thought one of the two were listed as changes from the 135i. Go for the 1K option and don't look back.
