You won't lose burbles and shifts would still be very similar. I know, it is almost contrary to what I posted. The burbles would just be a tad harder to do on purpose. In daily driving, it's still the same.

I get a call the following morning saying they still could not replicate the issue AND they checked my ECU but turns out I already have the latest software. Why they didn’t bother checking this a month ago – I have no clue. But I guess this is consistent with what I’ve said before. My car was a late build and I always felt my DCT was considerably better than the one I had tested out at the dealer. There were at times I felt it was slightly noticeable but it was never bad. And based on others’ feedback here, it seems the software addressed 90% of the lag so this all seems consistent. I just wish I didn’t have to bother leaving my car there for no reason. So all you recent ‘flashers’ now have what I’ve had all along lol. Again, my lag is limited to when a/c is on, and when I’m rolling to a stop. And instead of coming to full complete stop I get back on gas and there’s slight hint of lag. Keeping it in manual mode mostly eliminates this. |

If you did not already know the exclusive things that already comes standard to the "is" are the PPK2, PE, Gloss Black mirror caps, Style 313 wheels, Optional Black seats with blue stitch (floor mats have dark blue piping), 135is interior and exterior badges. I think 6MT 'is' cars comes standard with different pedals. Of course, other 1ers can have half these things added down the road. |

Also I've noticed some reports say that they come with aluminum pedals. Although mine does not. Is this exclusive to the 6mt tranny? I only have the aluminum dead pedal. Also my car doesn't have the 135is badge on top of the glove box. And I can't seem to find it anywhere online |

I think I have answered my own question about the missing aluminum pedals because I'm DCT and not 6MT. But can anyone lead me into the direction of finding a replacement 135is badge for the dashboard. |

It comes off fairly easy sadly. I wish it was anchored better to the dash. You'll probably just have to order one through you're dealership.

Welcome to the 586 club, great looking car - I believe this is the final list:
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...&postcount=332 Owen looked up the badge and sticker part numbers - price is somewhat dear, but here they are: 01-29-2-160-475 ($.49) 01-29-2-160-476 ($.49) 51-14-2-160-474 ($56.26) I ordered from getbmwparts, and they took forever to get here from the fatherland. There is a discussion in the same thread about where they should go. |

I will start addressing the exterior. The previous owner really neglected it. Spring time will probably bring a few more things. The car is packaged very nicely. It drives pretty well.
Thanks, man! Yes, Le Mans Blue. It's been 10 years since I've owned a BMW. I've owned 2 E39s. My parents have owned a few - E60 530i, E46 330ci, Z3, and an X5. The 1er seemed the car that offered what I was looking for. I like the thought of a car that didn't require me to press buttons to get it to the real performance car that it should be. |
