On a local track (Kinnekulle) in Sweden this past Summer.
A fast and technical track. A lap under 60 s. if you are good.

Finally. It's been too long since I've driven in anger behind the wheel.
Smokin' the brakes. *Photos courtesy of Michael Aguilar. I will say that the car needs some minor improvements, but for stock, it was still a great pleasure to drive. The brake pedal lost firmness after the first session, but I never lost pressure or stopping power - that quite impressed me. The OE Bridgestones sure did get greasy under abuse (this was a small circuit - not an autocross). The previous night it had rained heavily, and the highlight of the day was watching a Genesis coupe go off course, hit a massive water puddle in a trough, then jumping the embankment afterwords. All four wheels came off the ground and he nose planted, but the driver came away unscathed. |
