Yes, just go to the Willenius website link and enter your VIN in the Cargo ID field. The info looked like it was updated last night US time.

No dice. Kinda weird because mine seems to have finished production a few days before yours.
Are you doing PCD?

I'm in the same boat as sergeremi, I think literally. My CA couldn't tell me which boat I was on, but said it left Germany on 10/20 and will arrive stateside on 11/3, which is roughly the same schedule as the California Highway. Sergeremi, how did you find your boat? Did your CA confirm?

Thanks for the updates. I'm sure there is some method to the madness and I will just hope for late onset of winter. BTW is the California Highway a WW vessel or are they using another carrier now?

My status just changed to 'En Route'. Woohoo!
Still nothing showing on the Wallenius VIN search. Looks like 'Toronto' is leaving on Friday for Brunswick, GA. Hopefully this will be the one.

Awsome tracking site! I have been waiting over a week for my BMW sales ASSociate to give me an update on my car after ED drop off on 10/17 and have gotten nada from him. In fact they had a bit of an attitude and said they have seen it take up to 10 wks. for a redelivery. In two minutes I pulled up tracking and determined my car is on the Elektra that sailed out of Southhampton, UK on Mon! Due in NY on next Wed the 16th. God only knows how long it will take to get from the port to the dealership and delivered to me. I put in my order for this car on Dec. 20, 2011 and a second order in at another dealership last May! I'm getting really tired of waiting to see it in my garage!

Any other week 41's make it to finishing touches yet? The odd thing about it is that the phone system says that it's at the port waiting for a shipping vessel, which is the same thing they said when it was over in Germany waiting for a ship. Did anybody else get this message once they made it across the Atlantic?

Mine's still 'en route'
![]() I'm not getting too torqued because I'm considering moving my PCD dates up to mid-December due to some family things coming up.

Redelivery Finally Tomorrow
After nearly 5 months, I will be taking delivery of my 1M tomorrow. It had been sitting in Brunswick, GA for over two weeks before it was finally released to the carrier/transport company yesterday. I'll disclose the details of the delay in a later post. I've been able to stay fairly calm through the entire 5 months most likely due to the generosity of my fellow Houston BMWCCA and 1addicts members FranklinJoseph and 21450 who have allowed me to drive their 1Ms. 21450 even allowed me to co-drive his 1M at our November autocross where I posted the quickest non-modified BMW time after my second run. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Here are some pictures during and after my redelivery. Thanks to ///M Ryder who had the service manager secure my 1M once it arrived at Momentum BMW. She was parked and coned off in the first parking space in the service area. I passed on the detail to expedite my delivery, so she's a little dirty in the first two pictures. The third picture is of my odometer. About 9 miles were put on after ED drop off. With a 60% chance of rain in tomorrow's forecast, I've got some driving to do tonight.
