Afe Vs Berk

SO since the berk is pretty much impossible to find at the moment, im trying to see how different other options are.

I plan on running berk mids with some sort of axle back that i cant decide.


with berk mids, how much louder or different sounding with the berk muffler delete be compared to the Afe axle back? or persay the mad dad?

I am trying to achieve loud and aggressive. I want people to know my car is not just a stock daily BMW.

I have watched video after video, they all sound the damn same on video. Looking for maybe someone who has heard in person?

AA would be my choice. I heard drinkcoke3's last week and it gave me an erection.

if you want loud and aggressive, AA axleback, n55 mids and some dps are the way to go. just don't get upset over drone.

Frankly all N54s sound 95% the same...it's just a matter of how much volume, drone, and rasp appeals to you. The fundamental tone of the motor is what it is.

Here's my setup FWIW. Fairly aggressive but doesn't drone much, which I like.

gen 1 has no muffler but they released a gen 2 and it does have a muffler. I have gen 1 and love it.

My car came with afe. it's not to loud no drone at all and very deep. I'm getting to old for the aggressive exhausts.

Yeah told me 6-8 weeks so I found a used one instead. Pretty lucky though.

I just took off my berk a few weeks ago but it sounds great! I would deff recommend it to anyone looking an exhaust setup.

Being that the AA doesn't have a muffler, have you heard it with straight piping? I.e. Catless DPs and straight mids?

You should warm her up a bit more before those revs.....

Here's mine: N55 VRSF DP w/ cf-e stealth. Nearly zero drone yet raps out hard on the top end....perfect IMO.

I originally had the Berk Race axleback and loved it but once I added downpipes it was too much. I now have the Berk Street paired with the BMS downpipes and I think it sounds great.

It was warm, it just sounds like it's running open loop bc there's an AC unit right behind where my phone was, so there's white noise.

Your car sounds great. The exhaust merge of the 55 makes for a much nicer tone than the 54s true duals from manifold to muffler.
