New owner 135i DCT
Hello All,
After several months of researching, a couple of deals that fell through and a couple of weeks riding my bicycle to work, this week I finally got my 135i. It is a 2012 DCT with the m-sport and a couple of suspension upgrades. ![]() So I know that I am doing a couple of mods and I want to know what is the best order: 1) JB4 2) Intake vs down pipe vs exhaust vs midpipe? Do I need to get an oil cooler? what about oil catch can? Does the N55 has the same problem with intake valves? Thanks in advance Tona |

Best order in terms of power is JB4, Charge pipe (maintenance), Donwpipes, intercooler, intake. Exhaust will not add any significant power so you can add it at anytime. For maximum peroformance, you do need an oil cooler ( Evolution Racewerks is a really good option).

I've upgraded jb4 and charge pipe together first. Then went with Downpipe and intercooler .... Intake I just put in a k&n filter!!! I've tracked it and oil temp was not an issue... Bmw P/E would probably be my next mod, not to sure if intake would add anymore power!!
