HP gains with fuel?

Reading increase in hp by just using a different gas or mixtures. What gas and or mixtures will increase hp and to what extent? I do not ever intend to put money into increasing the hp with either hardware or software. Comments welcome.

Got it. I am in my mid 70's and just want to enjoy the 1'r for some time. I do not have the inclination or resources to really get involved with downloading S/W via the variety of avenues available. In fact I do not even have a cell phone. As my log in identifies me I was just curious if I could get a few more ponies out of mixtures in gas. I run 93 at present. Just curious. Tks for your reply.

Higher RON ratings will only help deter more detonation/knock. So without changing the cal/running a piggyback you will just be getting the max that the stock cal as to offer which will not even be noticeable between 91 and 93 RON rated fuels.

Keep running 93 and just have fun if never plan on modifying.

You can run a mixture of e85 3gallons (only no more) to a complete fill-up of 93 octane and will see a slight bump and no need for any programming. If you put more of e85 you will run lean and Of course bad things can happen, to take full advantage of this mixture you should tune for it but as you mentioned you don't want to.

You could try and run some ethanol free gas. In our area they can be found at certain Murphy USA stations. If you ever feel like explore the worlds of hardware or software give me a shout, I would be more than happy to help.

Thank you for the suggestion and offer to help with H/W & S/W. I will certainly give it some thought.
