Carbon fibre front splitter alternatives?

Was just wondering if any of you guys run a 1M front splitter that is something other than carbon fibre?

I love the looks and the benefits they offer however, when it comes to tracking my car I can't justify spending $1500 on a splitter that is just going to get ruined over a single track season.

If anyone has any pointers in other splitters that aren't carbon it would be appreciated!

APR makes an inexpensive splitter that works, but may not be the best looking.
