Terrible Misfire After Installing Coils & Plugs (N54 135i)
Hi all, I recently got my N54 135i and it had a slight misfire when warm. I replaced the coils (Delphi) and plugs (NGK 95770) and now the car runs TERRIBLY. It sounds like a cammed 302. It was not even close to being like this before.
Video of running: https://www.dropbox.com/s/v3asiq5cz2...71934.mp4?dl=0 Checked for codes with JB4 and here is my (hefty) list: 2ded 29f4 29f5 2a15 30ff 29d 29d1 9bb 29cc Only things I have on my car are a catless dp, JB4, BMS cone intakes, and BMS oil catch can. I'd like to see if you guys have any ideas on what might've happened; any and all input appreciated. Thanks!

Funny I still remember all the codes I've got in the past. Most anyway
30ff is the dreaded boost leak. Can be anything or as simple as a disconnected vacuum line. 2ded I got once after hooking my battery back up. Cleared it never came back. The 29f4 and 29f5 might be from no cats in your dps, i think that's what came up when i did my dp install and had yet to reflash mhd. But i could be wrong, was awhile ago. 2a15 i got when i broke my vent line connection on my lpfp it came up as a loose gas cap. And i think the others have to do with coils The first couple 29 ones anyway. Are you sure all your coils are installed correct? |
