Suggestions for E60 M5 wheels (or similar) settings
Hi folks,
I'm always fascinated by the E60 M5 stock wheels since when I was still a kid. After some googling, I found out that it's a Style 166 with 8.5x19 ET12 and 9.5x19 ET28, which seems to be a stretch for the 135i. http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/bmw/166 I planned to put PS4S or something similar on it, and google said that the 1M had 245/35 and 265/35 settings. What do I need to do with this setting? And if this 19in is too much for the car, is there any similarly styled wheel available in 18in? Finally, just a stupid question, are these M OEM wheels any good performance-wise? It is said that the M5 wheels are made by BBS. Thanks! |

Won't fit the narrow body 1er. Not even close. You'll be around 30mm too much poke on the rear alone and fitting a 19x9.5 is tough with proper tire sizes even with appropriate offsets.
You can probably find reps that will, or aftermarket wheels which look similar. Lots of good stuff available.

Style 135 from the E46 ZHP is somewhat similar, and those fronts will fit our 1-series. I love these style 135 wheels:
