Any tips on fixing this myself? A thread from ten years ago mentioned maybe a heat gun?

The eyes on that with the slack jaw the curb gave it makes your car look dumbfounded.

Do you know if the skid plate still has holes or were they ripped out. If it still has holes are the fixed nuts on it?

Same happened to me
Still havent fixed it
Looking at mine from underneath it definetly needs heat applied
