I agree we should get them together for a run.
Mine is a 135i Cabrio. Manual, SGM, black Boston leather. I've been told mid April for delivery. When are others expecting there cars? |

I ordered from Brian Jessel. I looked at Autowest but was very put off. The salesman was a real prick. His price for the 135 was full MRSP (that is fine...I figurd no deals to be had) but his trade in value for my current car was terrible. Brian Jessel was much nicer to deal with and a huge price difference on my trade in. I have ordered:
135 coupe. Jet black, premium package with black leather and aluminum trim, M package, USB stereo package. Mid March production date, Mid April delivery. My salesman said the first shipment for Canada will arrive at the port in Halifax the last week of Feb. They hope to get the first car in the showroom for early April. |

Those #'s sound right to me. Last year once the 335 coupes hit the showroom they sold out insanely quick. I think the dealers figure once the 135 hits the showroom the same will happen for those cars. I don't think they are going to offer too many deals as they are expecting a big demand for the cars.

yup I would agree with you. Hopefully we don't get a ton of parents buying there kids 135i as first cars thinking that it's a good first car because of the size and ignoring the power. In fact I hope these cars don't go to any drivers that can't handle the power and RWD. We all know the lower mainland isn't the best place to drive already. |

I'm hoping that the 1 does not carry enough "status" for that market. |

When I put my money down they had all the stats of my car up on the screen. It showed all the options, the production date and I THINK it even had my VIN. I believe it had the projectde date it would arrive at the Port in Halifax. I didn't get a copy of it but I saw it all on the screen. Out of curiousity...why would you want your VIN now?

vanbmw, I doubt that your VIN would have been on your order sheet. From what I understand, the VIN's are not assigned until a few days before production. After they are assigned then they are available on your dealers system.
Two months is a long wait and having the VIN just brings the car that much closer to reality. |

Yes a BMW is a BMW and for some, the wrong reasons.
I can tell you that at 43, the last reason I am buying my 1 is for status and I hope I'm not alone. But excel you are right, especially in the Vancouver market. |
