Official Good Vendor, Bad Vendor Thread
This should be a sticky!
Since the moderators of this website do not endorse or support the vendors on this site, we as consumers need a way to protect ourselves from the "bad" vendors and ways to promote the "good" vendors. I do not want to hear the horrors stories of vendors ripping off 1addicts.com members and I really do not want to be one of the people that gets ripped off. Now this is not intended to be a bash fest on vendors nor is it intended to be a way to promote your best friends, brothers, cousins, etc as vendors. This is simply a place to post YOUR experiences with the vendors on this site. We do not want to hear about how your friend got mad at a vendor because he did not give him his parts for free:wink: I am not a moderator or admin on this site but I really hope that the moderators realize that we are very vulnerable as consumers here if we do not have somewhere to voice our experiences for other potential customers to read. Thanks, Brandon:w00t:

This is good and I will make it a sticky.
Be very specific with your comments - general comments like, "Wow great!" or "It sucks" are useless. If the moderators feel that comments in this thread are shills for a vendor's product and service they will be discarded. Likewise unfocused rants against a vendor or product will be discarded. If you have something negative to say, remember, do not disparage the individual, disparage the product or service if need be, but keep the personal comments to yourselves. |

Thumbs up for Dan@United as well. Got my wind deflector and iPod cable fairly quickly. The mobility kit is still on order but I don't need it until I get non-RFT snowies.

Dan at united has been very helpfull with my orders, unfortunately my carbon spoiler came in from United damaged (damaged in transit thank you fedex), Dan called me from his cell phone while he was out of the office for the weekend assuring me he would ship a replacement as soon as he got back on Monday. I emailed Dan on Tuesday looking for the tacking number and of course it had allready shipped and was halfway to me. This was a perfect example of excelent service and Dan going out of his way to help a customer.

Yet another positive vote for Dan! He's got great customers skills. Everything I ordered showed up quickly and it was exactly what I wanted. He offers sales to the community and also runs contests for our forum.

Gill / Neal at The Tire Rack! Called Thursday to order a set of H&R Sport springs for my car.. they had it in stock, shipping was quoted super cheap, parts were at a good price. Since Gill was out of town, Neal took my order over the phone and was polite with the order. He double checked every step of the process (address, parts wanted, and phone #) and shipped it out that day! I should have them on Tuesday.
Thanks!!!

Troubles with Bimmerbum.com
I ordered a few accessories through bimmerbum.com and 3 weeks later there's no order status on the web site. I've e-mailed to the site twice now and no answer. I'd like to hear anyone having a good experience with this vendor, but it's been all bad so far for me.

Will Shaw @ Long Beach BMW was awesome.
He promptly got back to me with replies, he DHL overnighted paperwork to me repeatedly, and made our European delivery experience a breeze. He was even helpful enough to give me advise on where to drop the car off. Highly recommended! JL |

1. Dan @ United BMW
I received a part that was damaged during delivery (CF spoiler). Dan immediately called me up, during the 4th of July weekend, and overnighted a replacement first thing Monday - I received it today. Couldn't ask for more, great vendor. 2. Anthony @ RissRacing I would never put aftermarket parts on my car. That said, hypothetically, if I ordered parts from Anthony they would be delivered immediately with detailed instructions. The parts, hypothetically, would be high quality, well machined and exceed my, theoretical, expectations during testing. Great vendor. 3. Zainostore.com I have consistently received great customer service from this vendor and a consistently and absolutely amazing product. Sal Zaino, the owner, will personally respond to any tough questions you have with great detail and explanations. Great vendor.

TC Kline is an amazing shop. Prompt service, knowledgeable staff (that have raced BMWs for years), and world class products.
They aligned and corner balanced my car without me even asking |
