FUMOTO VALVE
I am considering the purchase of one of these.
Have you any experience with them? Looks like it would make oil changes a breeze. F109N has a nipple and is supposed to fit our cars. What do you think? |

I have one on my Miata, no issues and makes for a very easy oil change. I will hold off getting one on my E82 until it goes out of warranty. I can only imagine some engine-related failure being "traced" to the drain plug by a dealer.

This was discussed in the past and we have to get the Fumoto valve without the nipple since it would interfere with the access panel where the drain is. Unfortunately, it looks like it will make a mess without the nipple since the access panel is small.
I had one on my STi and loved it since I had the one with the nipple and just plugged a hose into it and drained it with now mess. |
