Steering Angle Sensor or Clock Spring?
I am starting to get the SAS plausibility error code but can't seem to find an appropriate part # at Fcpeuro or ECS or even RealOEM searching for "Steering Angle Sensor". I found a "Clock Spring" part that looks like it has the function. Am I just being dumb and searching incorrectly? Worst case I can disassemble the steering column and get the part number directly, but it seems crazy to me I can't easily find the part so figured i am searching incorrectly. Any help appreciated. Thx.

FCP Euro Customer Support identified it as a Clock Spring part #61319122509. I guess we'll see when it gets here!

Before you spend money-
I've found this often to be a symptom of a battery that isn't charged up enough or if my battery discharges too far when sitting if I forget to put a trickle charger on before leaving town. I have a Bluetooth dongle and WIFI OBD that have parasitic draw. You could have parasitic draw or a weak alternator. I do a full calibration and it goes away. Food for thought!

One of the first symptoms you have a weak battery charge is that the valet/welcome lights stop working till you have a fully charged battery.
