BMW Performance Power Kit?
This sounds interesting:
http://www.worldcarfans.com/9090217....buts-in-geneva I wonder if it's essentially the upgraded software from the new 7-series being offered as an 'upgrade'? It does speak of "an additional radiator outside of the engine itself as well as appropriate air flow ducts and a high-performance fan on the main radiator serving to adjust the engine to the change in thermal conditions.". Hmm. Sounds hot. |

Wow, interesting indeed! A power upgrade that's backed by a BMW warranty.
An additional 15 kw and 50 Nm... are these good gains? Roughly how does this compare with the AA and JB3 ecu chips? |

Just about impossible that this will be released here, we can't even get a BMW Genuine Performance muffler for a 130i passed through ADR's. Active Autowerke Tune would be way more cost effective than anything from BMW.

My dealer told me they are happy to put anything on my car that has a BMW badge on it - I guess I'll just have to get Dan to send it over this way when it comes out... too bad I am not in Melbourne.

50Nm of torque too don't forget. But maybe their original 0-100 figure of 5.3 is somewhat understated to begin with, so the faster 5.1 is not really as fast as it sounds?
Either way, if it came here, we can surely count for a high price from BMW Aust. |
