Will E9X Brembo Brakes fit 1M?

Does anyone have any idea? I have a 380mm GT kit, and I have a friend's friend who's interested.

Unfortunately, I'm in Canada, and he's in Hong Kong. Probably easier to sell to the same car, but since he's a good friend of a close friend, it's worth the trouble.

Yes, direct bolt on.

We(Stoptech) basically fitted the E9X M3 front and rear Stoptech Trophy BBK on our 1M on the day of the R&D and everything is the same.

1M shares just about all the suspension hardware with the M3 with the exceptions of brake pad compound, spring rates, ARB size and damper valving. If you want to consider subframe part of the suspension, the 1M uses the 135i front subfame.

Bolt right up! Slightly lower the spring rates will yield a better ride on the lighter 1M.

IIRC even the front damper valving is equal to M3 ZCP/Competition.

I have a relatively awkward set up that I enjoy.

I'm using Hyperco 800# front springs and 1100lb rear springs with KW CS Camber plates. Using helper springs, and KW Perches on the rear.

Would that be way too much for the car? For now, I'm keeping my suspension until I fully part out, but interested to see what options I have.

That is way too much springs for the 1M. If you like high spring rates, lots of people do for a track car. 600F and 900R would be better for the 1M, with aero you will likely to run a bit higher, maybe 700-800F and up to 1000R.

My DD that will see some track days is on 400F and 750R with AST4200

I like to run the softest spring I can get away with for the most mechanical grip and buy the best dampers I can afford.

It wouldn't be that expensive to switching out to lower spring rate springs, though. So I guess it's an easy switch if necessary.
