Bleeding clutch after Track Days
For those road course junkies like my self. Do you see the need to have to bleed the clutch ater ever track day sessions? I still have stock clutch / pressure plate. Mine gets a bit mushy after every session, and seems to build up some air. Using the Motive power bleeder I get a considerable amount of bubbles after bleeding it every track day.
I hadn't really noticed much after the day itself, but after driving it for a couple of weeks after wards. Any of you guys see the same behavior? Thanks for any feedback

I really started to notice it when using ATE Super Blue; don't really remember it with Motul RBF 600.. I think the fluid just boiled a bit too much maybe?

it shares the reservoir with the brakes, so i could see how the fluid would boil. if your brakes got mushy, it makes sense for your clutch to get mushy.

That was kinda of my thought process too, though not sure how likely that is. I was going to go back to RBF 600, just tried ATE Blue to try something else but it really can't hold up to the heat from these brakes.. while Motul did just fine.

so i get what you mean...the clutch bone's connected to the brake bone, but i don't think your soft clutch is from boiling brake fluid

I flush my system once a year with rbf 600 and bleed twice a year. brakes never went soft on me. going to srf this year. btw, if you haven't already swapped in ss brake lines, you should.

I put in SS lines a while ago, guess it was a one time thing, been out twice already and clutch feels fine.. maybe I already had air, didn't know.. or didn't flush completely last time.
