N55 P-Code
I installed BMS intake about a week ago; drove around, SES came on, went into limp mode. Turned off and turned back on...ran fine
Yesterday it came back on (light, no limp mode) I cycled starting it a few times and nothing so went to have it read. P-Code is P2177--system to lean off idle speed bank 1 I searched and couldn't find the code on here. Any thoughts on where to start? Not sure if that's referencing a vac line somewhere or the maf sensor? I assume its something I did bc it ran fine before. |

Took parts off car and went back to stock, took it to the dealer and they said that MAF sensor was failing but the car was running fine (could have cleared code and been goof to go)
Just thought I'd update in case anyone else has this issue down the road. And for anyone in Northeast Ohio area, Preston BMW in Boardman gave me great service. Took a little longer than should have but overall experience as far as people go and talking things out, they were great |

I have the intake but have yet to install it. I was going to say the MAF but seems like you all ready confirmed it. I wonder how much they cost from BMW. I bet its outrageous
