Jet Black after a detail
Took my 135 for a drive up to Tortilla Flats. Just had it detailed yesterday and thought I would take a few shots before the next dust storm dirties it up. Not a professional photographer and the lighting sucked but they came out ok. New LCI tail lights added, dark tint all around. Got the BMW CF spoiler to be added this week and CF mirror caps next week.
Enjoy. |

Looks great. I got the "metallic" black (extra $550), but I can't tell the difference. I like the blackout grille. Did you install that yourself?
What % tint is that?

I forgot to mention I also removed the chrome 135i from the rear deck and replaced with matte black lettering from JLevy. Not going to go full murder look but trying to remove as much chrome as possible. I'm not an expert yet on BMW trimlines but the window molding is black as well as the kidneys which I assume came with the Msport package. Tint is.... dark.... my tint guy says "how dark you want to go?" and holds up two different tints. I pick the less dark one and he put that on. I went darker on my Subaru and couldn't see shit at night. This is slightly less dark than that but with the Jet Black paint I think it makes it look even darker. |

Stock RFT's on the aforementioned 313's. Really coming to despise the RFT's. I really don't get the same feeling from my car others are describing such as a 'floaty' suspension or massive amounts of understeer. I think the car is very tossable into corners and the back end can be easily rotated with a bit of throttle control. What I do find is the stock tires bouncing all over the place on road imperfections. It was unnerving at times going through a tight corner and having the back end get loose because the tires were so hard they won't get traction. They just skip over the bumps instead of absorbing them. Before I upgrade any suspension bits (currently stock) I'm going to get some KDW's or PZeros's and see how she acts.
