N55 BMS Stage 2 - Needles not lining up on speedo and tach
Anyone know the sequence to get the needles on the speedo and tach to line up on, as an example, 1,000rpm and 10mph???

So your saying your needles are out of alignment? Then 1 5 to reset cluster. Or do you mean to go into command mode? Then hold down volume - and channel change down at the same time to enter command mode. |

The needles aren't lining up... so if I'm correct the sequence would be:
1. Push down the Volume and Channel selects down 2. Push the Volume select up once 3. Push the Channel select up 5 times 4. Then what???

Then just keep pushing volume down until it exits off command mode. Cause once you go like back to 0 on volume it just saves your entry and turns off command mode.

Upon installing the JB4 you'll need to use the menu 5 option to properly calibrate your gauges. Otherwise the numbers on the speedo, fuel gauge, and oil gauge won't align properly. You'll count up to 5 then set the tach based on your model and speedo type. Refer to the link below for the steering wheel controls sheet.
Also keep in mind the sheet posted has controls for the latest beta firmware. Production firmware mailed out with new JB4s may be missing menus 6 and 7. http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showpo...61&postcount=1 Mike |

Yep, that is what it was, the configuration had to be set to the 135i. Everything seems to be working great now!! I love this tune so much. The car is a monster now.
I ordered mine and just got it last week, so I'm assuming it has the latest updates? I'm running on Map 2, because I have a downpipe and run 93 octane. Is that the one I should be using?

Oh you were talking about that. Thought you already had it installed and your cluster was off.
Yeah do some logs on Map 2 and email them to Terry so he can confirm your ok because I remember him saying Map 2 is a bit aggressive even for 93 and he recommended octane booster but you may be ok due to having a DP. |

Download the 9/16 interface and read the notepad file. You must have purchased a USB cable with your stage 2 to do it though. |
