Got my diffuser and rear lip spoiler yesterday through FEDEX exactly 7 days after sending. Beautifully packaged and they included an iphone 4 case as well to compensate for the delayed shipping.
I am very pleased. Packaging was good and the quality is ok for the price. The mesh is perfect but there were two small blemishes on the carbon fibre diffuser. Took me literally 10min to remove the stock diffuser and install this one. The fit is not perfect (one hole does not line up and the ends do not clip in nicely) but again I cannot complain for the price that was paid. Once the diffuser was installed the blemishes on the carbon fibre became invisible. It looks perfect to me. I am super happy. The lip spoiler installation will be interesting I think because the ends do curl up a bit. |

After installing the diffuser I noticed the white (alpine white paint color) box behind the passenger side diffuser mesh. It looks bad. Does anyone know what it is? I'm thinking about spray painting it black. Thanks.

Installed mine today, there was ALOOOTTTT of bending lol
But at the end of the day, it's worth the $300 price There are definitely some problems with the fitment (mine being a little too narrow for some reason). However, I don't think anyone will ever notice. Except for me... lol

Noticed that on mine too... Spraying it matte black sounds like the plan...

Got my Carbon Fiber Diffuser today. Ordered it about 3 weeks ago from Ebay seller louiellp
The cost was $249 + $60 shipping IS dollars, so the lot was less than $300 Australian. They seem to have put the price up by $50. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BMW-E82-1...item1c1fcf9aac Very happy with the quality. Will try to install it tonight to see if it fits properly. I received mine the other day...looks pretty good but I'm not keeping it. I will post pics on a new thread comparing this one (from China) to a used BMW CF diffuser I purchased.

jc sportline diffuser
JC Sportline carbon diffuser arrived today (7 days shipping to UK) which is good.
It looks good now it is on the car although it took a bit of flexing to get it to fit, (seems a little narrower than the original). All locating tabs lined up and fitted. Overall, good value for money. Photos as promised in earlier message. |
