Loking to purchase a 1M, preferably Valencia Orange
I know I am very late to the game, but am thinking about purchasing a 1M coupe. Prefer Valencia, then alpine, then black. Any known cars out there? Willing to pay no more than $3k over sticker for a NEW one. If someone has any leads please PM me. Thanks.

There are 20 1M's shown on cars.com around the country. Out of those there are probably 5 or 6 available. Start calling. Some are at MSRP

Anyone have any leads to 1M that are KNOWN to be available west of the Mississippi River? Seems any that are available are in the northeast area of the country.

Seeing as how MANY owners with allocations, picked up their vehicles from locations several states away (mine was 1200 miles away) this will likely be a matter of chance for you. you are in the Southwest... the area with the highest markups.. and with relatively few dealers per square mile. And you want to pay only 3K over for a car that is pretty much GONE. Honestly, if you want a 1M... you should be prepared to pounce on any vehicle available. |

Keep looking dude you will find one eventually. I am in the same boat but I WILL NOT pay over invoice..Just my thing, as i have NEVER paid over for any car in 40 years....Most BMW dealers are pretty cool but a few are just bas...rds. I have just about given up buying a 1M as it seems there are some for sale privately, but i have to go through BMW financial to make it work...with 2 kids in college my cash is questionable..But there is still hope. Also if the 1M does not find a home in my garage the new M3 with twin turbo 6 will be fine. Or even the X3M.. For me i MUST have a turbo as having turbo's in my last 2 cars have given me torque fever...It's addicting. It's to bad BMW does not throw there 8cyl twin turbo into the new M3..That would of sealed it for me....But at 450 BHP to start with the torque to back it up the new M3 will be a very very nice substitute for the 1M....there is even talk of a AWD M3...now that would be interesting. The current M3 does not cut it for me at all torque wise after driving the 1 with the JB4 in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah still waiting on the dealer from the east coast. I don't want to pay more than $3k over MSRP and they are stuck at $5k. Greed greed greed. For the price they want plus taxes it makes more sense to get something else imho.
