Advice need it about H8 Led kit for 1M
Hey guys, maybe this question has a lot of info here, but i have seen different comments about Lux and Mtec. I did order one time some kit from a "website" and honestly didnt like it on my 135i, you need to wait at night to see the angel eyes, stock were more bright than leds. I want a kit that you can notice on daylight. Also is there too much difference on the 6500k vs 5000k?.

I would highly recommend LUX as it is quite noticeable in broad daylight and pretty user friendly.

Def go with the LUX!!!! I have the BMS 4 led kit and they look nice when it's dark, but are not even close to the brightness during the day as the LUX are. The BMS kit has a more blue-ish hue to them, so that may make them dimmer in daylight.

Here is my personal scale, from lowest price to highest:
Mtec/GP thunder - Direct replacement halogen bulbs. Will be whiter, but not pure white or blue, and not necessarily brighter. Very cheap, looks decent, but not great. Visible in daylight. No-name LED - These are actually white, but they tend to be dim. They are more expensive than the halogen bulbs, and they look white and great at night and in dark conditions but you can't see them very easily in the sunlight. BMS LED - Brighter than the no-name brand. Not very expensive, either. Lots of people seem to be happy with them, but I've never tried. However, I stand behind BMS with all their products, so I'm certain it's of good quality, especially for the price. Alpine HID kit - Less expensive than LUX, and the brightest option out there. Some say they are too bright, but I like mine just fine and I have never been pulled over. Yes, the inner ring is brighter than the outer, but you notice this more with these because everything is brighter with them. Takes a little extra time to install right. Seen perfectly any time of day, even in direct sunlight. The V3 reliability is top notch (V2 wasn't as good). LUX LED- More expensive, very evenly lit, very white. Everyone on here loves them, especially because they're plug and play. No fiddling around and hooking them up to the battery terminals like with the Alpine kit. However, they're not as bright. Harder to see in the day than Alpine, and I have yet to see a single DIRECT sunlight picture of these on a 1 series. But they are still great quality, as proven by the many people on this board who use them and like them. I still like my Alpine kit better because I know it's perfectly visible in the daylight. When someone eventually posts a real daylight picture with the sun facing the front of the car, and I can see the LUX bulbs, then I'll buy a set for myself and do a real comparison. LS1 / Depo / Sonar - These are full replacement headlight units. They are pretty expensive, but you get an awesome replacement headlight, which often times you can ask for "blacked out" etc. The rings will be as bright and white/blue as you'd ever need them to be. Awesome, but as I said, pretty expensive. Custom Job - I wrote this last because I'm not sure how the pricing compares to the others; it really depends. I have seen custom jobs where the angel eyes are replaced within the headlight housings with LED rings. These look great and use the stock headlight, but you have to ship your headlights out or drive over to whoever does this (or do it yourself obviously). The headlight must also be opened (and ours you can't just "EZ bake"), which sucks. I don't know who would even do this when there are all the other options available.
