Any chance you could get us pictures of the LI mounted in your grills/your setup? I can add them to the main post. I figure people seeing pictures of the install would motivate them a bit more to get in on this.

Excellent product abd worth the $
Ah, found your group buy thread. I bought and installed the same one. Excellent product. Install is simple but it is a bit difficult to line up the diodes properly with the 1's tiny grilles...patience. BTW...I connected the power from the ECU to the lighter versus the ignition. Just thought it would be easier since I installed the kill switch below the radio.

Hey guys...here is a site that will review all jammers and radar detectors. I'm also using the Stealth Coating from Veil as well based on this sites recommendations. I know you guys have a lot of questions about performance and comparisons...this guy knows his stuff.

BTW...here are a couple of bad iPhone pics. Kill switch is next to my 9500 mute button below the radio. The CPU is left of the steering column. You can see the dead pedal. Better pics for Thur and Fri.

Cooler is correct, but the 9500ci is the best combo unit (jammer + radar detector) on the market. Pricing is about the same since the LI Jammer requires a stand alone radar detector for full protection.

I dont use them...I believe the only State that tags cars with Lasers from behind is TX. Since jammers are illegal where I live I decided not to buy the rear diodes b/c that end is very visible and if a cop pulls you over his spot light and head lights will be right on them. They are not very stealthy in the rear and I do have the Veil Stealth coating on my license plate

"Prospective Remote RADAR Detector buyers would be better serviced to instead buy the Beltronics STi-R Plus rather then the 9500ci. The STi-R Plus is a more modern and less expensive version of the Escort 9500ci but unlike the 9500ci that forces you to pay for the ineffective ZR4 Shifters, the STi-R Plus does not allowing you use the savings to offset the cost of the Laser Interceptor and have the best of both worlds. The STi-R Plus is essentially the same as the 9500ci except is has a red display instead of the blue on the 9500ci and some other nice features absent in the older 9500ci and, most importantly, it does not force you to pay for the 9500ci's ineffective ZR4 Shifters to JAM LIDAR especially with its single rear, center mounted Shifter. With the 9500ci's ZR4 Shifters, you will be essentially defenseless against Jamming most all Laser Encounters. This is the main reason why we do not offer the 9500ci. Instead, you can use the price difference between the two to apply towards the price of our more effective Laser Interceptor. The STi-R Plus is a more modern version of the 9500ci and is the best remote Radar Detector and Laser Jammer package available today. The STi-R Plus also has better RADAR detection, Ka band segmentation and Auto-Lock out of falses that the 9500ci does not allowing you to reduce falses and some other nice features the more expensive 9500ci does not have such as the important ability of being user updateable." |

Understood...there are many opinions based on my research earlier this year. All I know is the guy that made the 9500ci recommendation as an all-in-one highly recommended the LI jammer plus 9500ix for overall protection, in addition to the Veil Stealth coating.
Hope all goes well with the GB. GL
