I'm going to talk to my shop and see how much something like this might run, and where I could cut corners price wise. |

Did you figure out the details? I'm curious how much work it'd take to get those rear fenders sorted...

Yes, I found that too. I liked the customer service I got from CATI much more, and they beat the price of M-Style UK when I asked them too. |

So a slightly offtopic mention: I had my front bumper ruined while it was in shop. So I am going to get it replaced. I asked my SA if they could get a 1M front bumper for me instead and what the cost difference would be. 3K for mostly paint... Let me know if you can get a steal for a paint job. I may go OEM 1M front, but I need to figure this out now. The damage is being looked at, at a local body shop. (They broke the tabs though, so it's definitely a lost front bumper.)

I sent them an email just now on the materials. They've been getting back to me pretty quickly so I'll let you guys know what they say.
On another note, I sent the website to my shop and they said it looks really nice from the website. Of course there is no real way to tell until it arrives, its still nice not to hear them tell me to forget about it. |

The other thing I don't think anyone's addressed is which 135i exhaust setups will be compatible with the conversion kits rear diffuser. Probably important as their custom made exhaust is only available with installation according to their website, ruling most of us out from getting it. Just emailed asking this so will let you all know

"We have installed a few of these and the most labour intensive part of the conversion is the rear wings! The kit comes with rear arch widening that need to be moulded into the factory rear quarters and the inner quarters need to be cut and reshaped slightly in the lip edge. For an experienced body shop I would allow 8 hours labour per side for the widening excluding primer and painting. The other parts are pretty much bolt on. The outlet positions are the same as 1M. The quad setups for 135i e.g. eisenmann etc won't work as the outlets of the exhausts on the 1M bumper are slightly more central. Custom would be your best option." |

Just goto Schmiedmann.com and order through them. You can get the full M1 rep from Kerscher painted and shipped to the US for under 3k. I'm too lazy right now to go and price it all out of you guys but seriously check it out.
