FS: BMW Performance Exhaust
Looking to go a different route for my exhaust system. There is about 1500 miles on this system I bought from the German dealership. I love the sound but I think I want something more aggressive.
I paid 900 for it new 1500 miles ago, I'll let it go for 800 OBO

Good luck for the sale bud, see if Dack will help you translate it, and put it up on the !er forums. Those crazy German kids are always looking for good deals on parts.
What are you thinking for "more aggressive"?

Haven't really decided yet, thinking about going with a catless down-pipe and a berk race catback. I'm still shopping around though...

I have catless AR dp, and MadDad Euro Muffler delete (basically Berk Race) and it is beyond "Loud". You can ask JK, Elsabor, or Josh135i. It's no joke when you go that far. If you are ever in the Stuttgart area, let me know and I'll take you for a tunnel pass to make sure that's what you want.

Yeah I know what its like having a loud car. I will always keep my stock exhaust for that reason. I had a rx-7 with a 60-1 turbo and a straight 4 inch exhaust all the way back to a race muffler(straight through). That thing was loud....

I had a 93 Supra with a T81 with 4" HKS Fireball.... I know all about loud lol.
But this, is a different type of loud, especially here in Germany, but if you know that's what you want, good luck man. People sell those Berk Races all the time, you could actually probly post the BMW exhuast as a potential trade +cash. Might work out for ya.

I had the Berk Race exhaust with my stock DP and it was waaaaaaay too loud. People on the back side of the third floor of my office building could hear me start the car. On the Autobahn it droned so loud that I couldn't stand to drive between 80mph and 120mph. It sounded great at WOT in tunnels but wasn't worth the headaches and extra attention.
Now I'm running a catless DP and the stock exhaust and I wish I could quiet it down a little more. YMMV

Okay, so maybe I won't go with the Berk race... I love the sound of the BMW PE but I just want something more aggressive...

Catless DP with one of the following would probly get you exactly what you want. 1. Berk Street 2. MadDad Whisper 3. HPF (Expensive) Of course there are plenty variations of others brands that make exhausts like that, but it's up to you in the long run. Just like I said before, if you make your way to Stuttgart at any point ( I might be in K Town tomorrow, not sure though). Let me know, and you are free to hop a ride, and see how you like that set up.

I think it's funny that you paid for the HK sound system upgrade and are thinking about going catless with the Berk Race.
Keep the BMW PE and install a DP, then see if you really want something more agressive. If so the PE will sell pretty quickly once spring rolls around and people get the mod bug again.

Yeah When I bought it I didn't think the mod bug would hit me like this... I thought this would be fast enough but now it feels slow....

Feels slow? Exhaust won't make that much of a HP gain. DP is when you start to feel the power gains.

I mean modding it.... I know an exhaust doesn't make that big of a difference but a 135i with full bolt-ons does.. I thought when I bought the BMW PE I was just looking at a few mods that would make the car mine. Now I realize for the price of the BMW PE I can get a DP and a cat-back...
If I don't sell it it's not a big deal. I'll just wait a bit and buy a DP and keep this catback... Just thought I'd try something else... I love the sound of this exhaust, I just wouldn't mind something more aggressive.... If not then I will be more then happy to keep the BMW PE

I bought Berk race from Mr. Kleen, and absoluteley love it. Yeah its way too loud, and 2 hrs on the autobahn and it gets really annoying, but a 10-30min drive is priceless. Ive had it since the summer, and cant get rid of that grinn, stock DP mind you. without those....thats just crazy, but is there ever too much? good luck deciding, If your ever in stuttgart let me know and you can hear it

I installed my BMS 3.5 inch downpipe today and I'm keeping the BMW PE. It sounds bad ass.
