Anyone tried Waze? Imho, better than anything built-in even today forget about few years down the road.
Money spent on NAV could be deployed elsewhere such as upgrading the muffler, etc. Just for the record, i do have usb, ipod, hk sound, worth the extra money items. |

Mine has the satnav obviously and because many of my former BMWs also had it I almost can't live without the satnav. This spring we're heading for Paris again and though I've been there many many times before, the satnav still comes in very handy indeed to find the hotel in the first place
BMW Apps and internet works fine too. Cheers Robin |

With all of this talk about resale value, I find it quite humorous that everyone is basing resale value on what people are "asking" on AutoTrader, Ebay. When in reality they are not "selling" for those prices. Just curious... Does anyone on here personally know anyone that has paid 60+k for a used 1M?
Referring to US$ prices.... (And not referring to the heavily modified Dakar Yellow 1M either) |

What about the sense of humor of the dealer who sold a 1M to forum fellow EssamKh last month for ± $68 ? http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...65&postcount=5

Restate your question the other way around: wave with US$60K over here and check how many forum fellows are prepared to definitely part ways with their 1M for your offer (2013). Don't be surprised about the limited response. Then ask yourself why.

Try selling a car in the US for 60k and wait for the offers to pour in.... Very limited response.
You have a very disconnected group. People who will sell their car for the right price... and People willing to pay that price. The 1Ms for sale in the US are by people who will happily keep their car unless someone is willing to pay enough to make them give up the car. Then you have people looking for a 1M, but have no desire to pay MSRP for a 1.5 year old car with 10k miles. Unless the two groups connect then there isn't an accurate representation of what 1M's are really worth. A car is only worth what someone is willing to pay you for it. If they aren't selling for 60+ then they are not worth 60+. The same 10 cars that were for sale at high prices two months ago are still available today. Funny there are so many that think exactly the same. That's what I would've done if I could've special ordered it, but waited too late so I happily jumped on one without heated seats.
But I would've paid NOT to have nav. I'm planning to keep the car forever and it was just something to go wrong that I wouldn't use anyway. I also like the look much better without it. DO wish I could stream pandora over bluetooth without it, though, but I'll settle for the usb. |

I managed to spec mine out with the following options:
1. Satellite Radio - Nope. Saved 0.01 kgs 2. Front wheels - Nope. Saved over 50 kg 3. Rear wheels - Nope. Saved over 50 Kg 4. Seats - Nope. Saved at least 300kg because some fatass would try to sit in the passenger seat while I track the car. 5. Engine - Nope. Those things kill track times. I suspect the car weighs slightly more than my Canondale carbon bike. It doesn't go anywhere right now (no wheels and engine) but DAMN THIS THING IS LIGHT!
