Mode Carbon l E82 CF 1M LM Series Diffuser
Mode Carbon LM Series Diffuser Our LM-Series Rear Diffuser alludes to the racing-heritage that has come to be synonymous BMW’s M division. Its sharp fins allow for improved airflow that enhance the aerodynamic capabilities at the rear of the vehicle while making it look at home on any racetrack as well as a menace on the streets. Technology: At Mode Carbon, our manufacturing process takes full advantage of a dry-layup vacuum infusion process. This allows for less resin to be used in between the carbon fibers, creating a dramatic weight advantage. The vacuum infusion technology of our process also ensures a perfectly even distribution of the resin. The result is a pin-straight weave pattern, which generates a more consistent level of structural integrity to maximize the overall rigidity of our carbon fiber products. 100% Carbon Fiber: All raw materials used in our manufacturing are hand-picked from Germany, France and Japan to ensure that our carbon fiber products exceed even the most strict industry standard of quality. The carbon fiber is finished with UV protected clear coat to prevent discoloration from sun exposure. The glossy finish not only provides stunning aesthetics, but also serves to maximize the longevity of our products by increasing their durability to the elements. The Result: Our commitment to quality is high-grade carbon fiber that reduces weight, increases performance and improves aerodynamics. Whether your car is for the street or dedicated to track use, Mode Carbon products offer an ample blend of quality, refinement and style. Available Options: 1x1 or 2x2 weave High-gloss or Matte finish Please PM or Email Nicholas@modecarbon.com with your location for a quote. I am sure the following will be asked by others as well:
Photos of the diffuser alone from different angles would be appreciated as well as pictures of a matte finish version. I wonder if there is any undertray like the Revezport unit to help air flow? Any real aero tests confirming that it helps down force? And from what I see, the right side exhaust tips are (almost) touching the diffuser.

We will research the possibility of an under-tray. This Showcase vehicle is actually a 1 series conversion, therefore the tips on the right side are not OEM and do no portray how the tips would be housed under our diffuser. Our Diffuser has not yet been air tested, however we do test each individual piece to see if there are any aerodynamic benefits. Stay tuned for more information. Please PM if you have any other questions! |
