Yup that was me. Headed west on Belford and turning north onto Monoco. I work up that way. I remember now, you are also a black 1er and were behind me at the light at Quebec and Belview in the right lane. Then you got over to the middle and I took the turn too fast as I was taking a last look at your car instead of breaking. Nice to meet you.

It really seems like 1ers are pretty rare occurrences in the States. I see them everywhere in the motherland, granted, they are made here in Munich. Makes me feel like I am part of an exclusive club.

I always take notice because I don't see 1ers very often. There is some lady with a white 128i vert but I don't think she is an enthusiast.
I tend to take that turn quick when I can. It is smooth and has good vision plus it's own lane after the turn so it is a good turn for it. In all honesty the limits of the handling on my 135i is now well beyond what is safe on the streets so you kind off have to pick your best spots for fun.

I spent some time in Colorado in a previous life. Some favorites:
These four are fun, but I didn't include Wolf Creek Pass, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Crested Butte, Telluride, or a bunch of other places. Have fun. |
