If they quit making them in September, why list a 1 series price increase effective 01 Oct? weird

Guess they probably just had increase in production/shipping costs, so figured they'd pass that along to those getting ones that may sit on dealer lots for who knows how months. Gotta remember that for west coasters, it's a loooong journey from end of production to actually arriving at a dealer. I gotta imagine come January, there will still be some 1's out there to be had sitting on dealer shelves forever since the majority of people who wanted one likely ordered theirs.
