LED Lights?
I am looking to replace the little lights that are in the headlights of a 128i convertibale. The wife wants some type of LED. Does anyone know what these bulbs are called. I think these are the bulbs that lightup when you hit hte unlock and its dark out.

I'm assuming you're talking about the turn signal bulbs that come on and dim while unlocking the car?
If so, they are indeed LED Lights, but you have to be careful with what you choose. Typical LEDs draw low power, so the BMW system thinks that a bulb has failed...You need to trick the car by installing a resistor (or get a LED bulb that has a resistor already in it) and you'll be fine |

hmm, idk these bulbs are not bright orange. Nor do they have the led look. They illuminate the headlight housing, it looks like a little 194 bulb in the low or high beam housing

You're not going to gain much (if any) by replacing those. If you have automatic lights enabled on your headlight stalk, when you unlock the car the parking lights (front turn signals, rear taillights, and license plate lights) should illuminate and provide enough light around the car. |

I think that any blue on the headlight is grounds for getting ticketed. Can't impersonate cops or so I heard.
