E85 in Gas
When calculating for the correct amount of E85, does anyone consider the fact that most gas has up to 10% ethanol? I'm running like 35% E85 with 65% 93 oct. And it's been giving me issues. Like at WOT it will skip/ stutter slightly... the higher the %of E85 I use the more it does this.. Is it possible that im actually running like 45% because of the 10% that's already in it? Also that stutter, is that the fuel pump unable to pump the required volume because of the E85 ?

Of course. It all depends on where you fill, which is why it’s important to test the % of ethanol in “E85” as well as the pump gas. If you have a supplemental pump the +/- 10% isn’t going to make a big difference on the fueling side, but with a stock pump it could put you over the edge of available fuel. Hence the missing up top, though on stock frames it’s usually spool that really tanks HPFP PSI.

Hey guys, am I going to be safe if I run 30% E85 with 70% E10 (93 with 10% ethanol) with just a Cobb stage 1 Aggressive and DCI? I have a station nearby that offers both and really want to try it, but not sure if its doable since I am just on Stage 1?
