Hey buddy, need a lift?
That's my VO on the lift in my step son's article about his garage in the latest (June 2014) issue of Roundel. His place has been the site for several tech sessions of our local BMWCCA chapter.
Wrenching was never so much fun, as we take breaks between water pump installations, E36 rtb replacements, and all other manner of light repairs to munch on some great barbeque and watch a little Top Gear out in the garage. One of the drawbacks of owning a relatively new 1M is that there isn't much wrenching to do on it. Yet. But I still have my beater E36 M3 with 215K miles on it, which supplies all one could want in opportunities to bang stuff with a hammer, lose a little knuckle skin and curse German engineering, which, near as I can tell, greatly prizes putting nuts and bolts in inaccessible places just to torture us DIYers. |

Sorry, I'm an old fart. The pics are in the article of the hard copy June 2014 issue of Roundel that arrived in my mailbox last Friday. That issue does not appear online yet, for some odd reason or another.
