bigger brakes

having removed these from my csl before i sold it thought i might as well use them on the 1M,i do think the standard 1M brakes are okay for daily driving but they do fade very quick if your braking hard, any way was hoping the e46 set up would go straight on but totally different offset bell's & brackets,so sold them & had new bell's & brackets made up,hi spec do a kit off the shelf for E92 M3(same brakes as 1M) that use there own disks in either 380 or 400mm front & 360 or 380 rear,i wanted the bells/brackets made up for my own set up,380mm floating performance friction disk's with 6 pots & using the standard 1M rear disk's with 4 pots, have to say it's totally transformed the car,no fade at all & effortless braking, back feels like it's being pulled down on to the road when braking hard

Um, just how hard are you breaking during daily driving? Or is this experience at the track?

Nice set up, though.

i have noticed the brakes fading very quickly a few time's on a brisk drive, for the track standard brakes would not last long, better pads & fluid would be a must

How can you keep your car spotless in Scotland?

Nice looking and you are right, bbk transforms the 1M...I used AP Racing and its night and day different.

I plan on visiting Scotland next year, pm me your location and maybe we can meet for lunch/dinner.

maybe once or two times a year...
