JB4, emissions, can't find BMS fix, install stock DP's to complete readiness?
As the subject reads, I need to pass OBDII emissions and my car has AR catless DP's and JB4. Turning the JB4 off throws a CEL which isn't suprising and it appears as though the BMS DP Fix is challenging to get these days.
Before I go through the hassle of having the stock, catted DP's installed, I'd like some feedback that that would fix the CEL and readiness issues? Logic would say yes, but I'd appreciate any insight. The thought is to install stock DP's, keep the JB4 off, drive the car 50+ miles to complete the cycle so the car will read readiness and in turn pass emissions. Thanks. |

That should work as long as the rest of your car is in check.

Mike mentioned that VSRF will be introducing a fix, but he didn't have a time frame for release and recommended that I contact them directly, which I did.
I'll circle back once I get a response. |

register your car in a county that doesn't require emissions. This always frustrated me to no end. Dump trucks blowing pollution, v8 trucks rolling coal, and you're trying to brand me for my twin turbo six cylinder that's catless. Police and the state can get fcuked.

Unfortunately registering the car elsewhere isn't an option. I understand why the State requires the test and it's my own fault that the car doesn't pass.
VSRF says they'll have a product ready this upcoming Monday. I'm getting additional details and will circle back. |

The product we sell is for non-emission controlled cars only.
it is illegal to use any of our products to pass emission tests.

Works together.
That being said you should not keep it for long periods of time as it messes with the car's AFR.
