Walnut blasting Detroit?
I've seen the prices people are getting quoted for this at the dealerships, and it just seems a bit ridiculous for this. I've emailed some of the Euro shops in the area (Nikolas, Steve's Euro, and Auto Europe), but all of them say they don't have the equipment to do this. Just wondering if anyone has has any luck with an independent shop instead of the dealerships in metro Detroit(I'm in Troy, just for reference). Also, has anyone actually had it done by Erhard at Maple and Telegraph? Just wondering about personal experience with them doing this, and maybe an actual price you paid?

Just bumping this back up to see if anyone has any ideas for a metro detroit shop to do this. I missed the recent group walnut blasting session, but I should probably look into getting this done this summer. I'm ok with driving an hour or so if there is a decent shop. Any ideas from the locals?

Would your friend be willing to share what they charged for this? I'm thinking the dealership will be my only option in this area unfortunately.

I bought the tools and did the work myself this summer. If you are interested in doing the work yourself, I'm open to sell you the parts. I would also be willing to lend some help for a reasonable price.
