New to the forum and new to the 1life, picked up a pre-owned Monaco Blue vert a couple weeks ago and have been busy getting her ready for her first picture. In the meantime, I've been reading up on everything I see to get caught up so posts may be slow to come.
see everyone around. |

Wow I can't believe I never noticed this regional section!
Been lurking here for ages and finally picked up an n54 about two and a half months ago. Haven't seen too many 1ers around personally, but I'm generally north a bit, surprised we have so many! God I love these cars. |

Anyone here go to the BMW Championship today and park in the owner's lot? I saw at least 4 1'ers: a black coupe with bike trays on the roof, a red 128, a couple others. I think mine was the only E88.
There were only a handful of interesting BMW's there. Most were the ordinary production cars. I saw some pristine E30 and E36 M3's. The others were "write a check" M3 and M5's. |

I've been meaning to post a thread to see if anyone wanted to do another mountain drive. We've done a couple in the past.

I fly out and pick up my AW in less than 10 hours... excited! I'll be back in town by Tuesday. Not sure if there's any other self-employed peeps here, but would love to go for a cruise through the foothills/mountains and enjoy the Aspens next week.

I'm just seeing these replies now. This weekend wouldn't work for me, but maybe the next one.

Hey guys!
I'm in the US and will have about 4 days to drive around in colorado. I was hoping y'all locals could share some great drives with me? I'm look for fun driving, not particularly nice scenic routes. I love driving the awesome runs in the Alpes like we did with the Stelvio/Sella trips. Any tips besides Pikes Peak? Thanks! |

New 1er
Just pick up my 1er about a month ago....just wanted to say Hi. Already removed the stock spoiler and replaced it. decaled my front grille with the M sport colors on the grille. Picking up a set of rims for winter use and that's about it for now. Just love driving this car.

I've found the turbo to remain to be very quick at altitude. Previously had a 325ci that also remained quick, but not in the same class as the twin turbo. I am not aware of a specific 1er group. But there seems to be a strong Rocky Mountain BMW group that meets regularly around town.
