Suspension and tire clearance questions
Hey all having a total brain fart here, and it's been a long day so bear with me. I have two questions for y'all:
1. Would be a difference in clearance between a coilover's lower spring perch/spring and tire when the car is in the air versus when the suspension is loaded? I.e. would the movement of the suspension arms/wheel travel have an effect on contacting the spring perch at full droop (car on jack stands) vs. from compression (loaded - cornering). 2. Would the clearance between the strut body and wheel differ between the wheel being fully mounted, but in air, versus mounted and loaded on the ground? My thought is no, because the hub is a rigid mounting point, but again, it's been a long day and my brain is fried. Thanks guys.

Awesome, that's what I thought! Thanks for confirming. It looks like my current wheel/tire setup clears the TCK suspension without the need for spacers, etc. I have the perches wound down about 3/8th the way, and I must have at least -3.5* camber up front. It's game on for test fitting some 17x9 up front.
