Pagid RS29 vs PFC-08 vs Endless ME20
Anyone have thoughts/experience on these?
I'm looking for a pad with a decent temperature rating that will last for use on stock M3/1M brakes and rotors. Thanks, Last edited by Blue55; 12-11-2012 at 11:51 AM.. |

I am running the RS29. they're considered enduro race pads. had five track days on them and they're down to half. I really like them but I don't have any experience with the other two. although I use to run the Ferodos before. I didn't know the other two where even an option for our 1er but Pagid is a big name among the pros. pricey too! paid nearly $700 for a complete set

Can I ask if you run pretty hard? Do you run in the advanced group or do any time trials? I'm trying to figure out how they will do under heavy use. I see you have Ohlins so you must be pretty serious.

Yeah I run in the advance group. I must say I don't abuse the brakes as much as some other people but my times on the tracks I go are fast and faster than any other 1er and that includes 1Ms and most M3s. Also the pagid pads are used by a good majority of pros on the professional circuit. Can't ask for more than that. I'm sure performance friction pads are good too but the fact the pagids are meant for enduro racing and their reputation was what sold it for me. Hope that helps

My experience of these three is with the Endless ME20 pads. I cannot say enough about the performance of these. I've been using them with my stoptech ST60 brakes and they have transformed my track drive. I did 8 days on them this past season, all of them with Hoosier slicks. These pads have excellent modulation and ridiculous initial friction levels. I spoke to a number of racers with experience using different pads/compounds and settled on the Endless pads. If you want more info, talk to the guys at BRRacing about their experience.

Great feedback. I'm running stock brakes at the moment, but the pad compound should be the same. I have several friends who like the ME20s for the initial bite and longevity. The MX72s are too much of a compromise as my driving ability has improved.

Thread revival! I happen to be interested in the same three track-duty pads due to the following characteristics: longer life under track abuse, minimal fade, and rotor friendliness. Been wanting the Pagid RS29 for a while now, but after more research, now leaning towards Endless ME20 - apparently these have better modulation than the Pagids. One complaint of the Pagids seem to be a spongier feel to the pedal especially after some wear. Some only swear by Performance Friction, so also considering the PFC-08.
Interested to hear more feedback or comparisons. |

Zero complaints, they stop consistently and hard and are very streetable as well. I stopped switching them out. Your mileage may vary though as this is in a Stoptech ST60 kit on a 135i. |
