Cobb V3 N55 Engine Question

I have a 2011 BMW 135i N55 with PPK Stage 2. I have just bought Cobb V3, but when I try to install it, I get an error saying unrecognized rom. Something about 96A0B and 9780B. I don't know which version I have. I don't have a warranty anymore and was hearing that BMW won't update my software without the warranty. Has anyone had any experience in this? This is my first tune I have messed with. I have already tried updating firmware of AP and beta too.

I had that issue too at first. Have you plugged the Cobb into your computer first? Turns out that I needed to do that to get the updates and maps.

I have updates and tried beta updates too. I downloaded my ECU info to AP. From what I can tell from rom file, I don't have either of those versions listed.

You sure you got the N55 Cobb not the N54 one?
On the label it should have a part number BMW-001 is N54 and BMW-002 is N55

I have the BMW-002. I have actually got it fixed. Cobb Tuning helped me out. Thank you all.
