Spacers on e87
Hi everyone,
I own a e87 116i and I'm thinking of getting spacers to get a more agressive/sporty look without spending too much money. It's only a 116i so it's too slow to spend a lot of money on it. Will be buying a faster car in the future and do more mods to it. But for now, I need spacers for my 1er. I don't know much about spacers, offsets and what not. My wheels are 16", 195. Can anyone recommend me a good size of spacers? Don't want it too wide but I want a noticeable difference Thanks

On my wife's 118d I put 15mm spacers in the rear with aftermarket 17x7.5 wheels (don't recall the offset but they aren't very concave at all) and 225 tires all around. I still have quite a bit of space in the rear (a couple of fingers). The fronts have 5mm spacers and are pretty flush. For the 5mm spacers I just used the old wheel bolts. For the rear, thicker spacers I had to use longer bolts (bought spacers/bolts in package).
