30mm lowering springs - comfortable?
So recently bought a M Sport 120d which I'm absolutely loving. I'm looking to lower it a bit around 30-35mm on coilovers, though I'm thinking about getting springs for a few months before I get coils. I wanted to know if, on springs, is there a lot of difference to the comfort in the ride? Coming from a lowered MK6 Fiesta St on springs, one of the main things I love about this car is how comfortable it is, so will the springs make a drastic impact on the drive?
And anyone have any opinions on AP 30mm springs? Little pic of the new car too Thanks in advanced! Last edited by fknlewis; 10-06-2015 at 04:52 AM.. |

My answer: No. No. No.
Do not cheap out on suspension (and tires). Do not buy springs only. Do not drive on runflat tires. Head over to the suspension section as there is ton of info. Bilstein B12 & B14 are a great value if your budget is tighter. Quality stuff.

No problem if you do springs and dampers. May run into issues with usable stroke, but otherwise it will be comfortable if you pair it up properly.
Springs only? Save your money.
